About Us

Tui Glen School (established in 1956) is a state funded, multi cultural, full primary school catering for students from Year One to Year Eight. The school is situated in Stokes Valley, Lower Hutt.  The school community (and children attending the school) come from Stokes Valley, Upper Hutt, Taita, Pomare, and Naenae.

We currently have 8 classrooms. The classes are arranged in two syndicates – with junior and senior syndicates located throughout the three main classroom blocks.  Our library is a valued resource of our school.

We enjoy an attractive school site, with a large field, a bike track, several asphalt court areas and three playground equipment sites providing for all the children at the school.  The classrooms are both single cell and open plan.  We have a large hall, a well maintained music room and a resource room.  Community groups and families make extensive use of the grounds, gardens, hall, and playground areas.
